Evaluación de la tolerancia a la salinidad en poblaciones segregantes F5 de arroz (Oryza sativa L.)

Resumen

Se evaluó la tolerancia a la salinidad de líneas avanzadas F5 de arroz, en poblaciones segregantes derivadas de cruces interespecíficos entre Oryza sativa L. ssp. japonica x Oryza rufipogon G. y de cruces de líneas de tipo japónicas; a través de indicadores fisiológicos. Se probaron 30 accesiones en dos ambientes (0,2 y 7,0 dS/m). En este análisis se consideró las diferencias entre el rendimiento de materia seca en condiciones óptimas y el rendimiento en condiciones de estrés (salinidad), para seleccionar los genotipos más tolerantes, fueron evaluados 8 índices de tolerancia: porcentaje de reducción relativa (RR%), índice de susceptibilidad a la salinidad (SSI), índice de intensidad de salinidad (SII), productividad media (MP), media geométrica de la productividad (GMP), tolerancia al estrés (TOL), índice de tolerancia a la salinidad (ITS) e intensidad del estrés (IS). Según la correlación de Pearson, los índices más adecuados para identificar genotipos tolerantes a salinidad fueron: RR%, MP, GMP, e ITS. El Índice de tolerancia a la salinidad (ITS), seleccionó al genotipo Puyón/JP003P11-103115 (7) como tolerante y a las líneas Puyón/JP002P8-30552 (6) y Puyón/JP002P8-294930 (11) como moderadamente tolerantes al estrés salino.
