Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative tool in education, offering opportunities to improve the effectiveness and personalization of learning. In this study, a comprehensive review of the existing literature on the application of AI for the benefit of future professionals in the area of ​​basic education was carried out. The fundamental objective of this research is to describe the benefits of Artificial Intelligence in the learning of students in the basic education career at the Technical University of Babahoyo. In addition, its objective is to identify key applications of AI beneficial to students in the basic education career and determine their use. To achieve this, the methodology is applied with a deductive-quantitative approach, through a descriptive non-experimental design where it was carried out through surveys. The results indicated a generally positive reception, highlighting the better participation and understanding of the content. The challenges and potentials associated with the implementation of AI are also discussed, such as resistance to change and the need for adequate training.
