Abstract

Innovation has become a fundamental component for improving the management of organizations; It requires analyzing needs and looking for creative alternatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness. In the educational context, innovation implies improvements in study plans and programs, educational processes, the application of technology and communication improvements and, of course, innovation in the management and direction of the educational center, for equitable access.

The objective of this article is to raise awareness of the importance of educational innovation that takes advantage of technologies to promote creativity, personal expression, critical thinking and innovation.

For this reason, a descriptive bibliographic review is presented through systematic information of scientific articles from different databases such as Scopus, Scielo, Journal, Dialnet, Readaly, Google Scholar related to educational innovation and technologies for the improvement of the quality of the teaching-learning processes.

The result shows that the integration of educational innovation allows the development of intellectual work and study techniques, it also allows the processing, interpretation and communication of information, it seeks for the student to acquire knowledge and tools that allow them to develop their creative potential. through the use of technology that promotes the design, organization and implementation of creative and innovative activities.
