Abstract

The objective of this work was to perceive the didactic strategies applied in the teaching and learning process in the field of Language and Literature in students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) at primary school level. Attention deficit disorder is understood as a neurological condition in the cognitive development of the child, characterised by a lack of attention and control over behaviour (hyperactivity, impulsivity). The research was carried out using qualitative methodology with a descriptive design. The research sampling procedure was non-probabilistic, by convenience. The results of the survey showed a greater affinity for the use of three specific strategies by teachers, however, they described the benefits of each strategy, indicating the great impact that each one has when implemented in the teaching-learning process, strengthening significant areas in students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, such as memory and attention.
