DEVELOPMENT OF INVESTIGATIVE SKILLS IN THE STUDENTS OF THE CAREER OF HOTEL AND TOURISM OF THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF BABAHOYO-EXTENSIÓN QUEVEDO

 

 

RESUMEN

El Ecuador ha tenido grandes transformaciones y retos referentes al turístico; el gobierno de la revolución ciudadana realizó cambios profundos en su producción y desarrollo, pues no se valorizaba lo que tenemos en nuestro país, ahora se considera al turismo como una actividad también de consumo e incremento económico. El presente artículo está orientado a analizar el desarrollo turísticas en la producción de las PYMES del Cantón Quevedo y determinar cuántas empresas turísticas, contratan profesionales formados en Hotelería y Turismo para laborar en las mismas. El estudio se desarrolla con la participación de los estudiantes de dicha carrera de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo (UTB)-Extensión Quevedo lo que contribuye al desarrollo de las habilidades investigativas  y la cientificidad del contenido de enseñanza-aprendizaje durante el proceso formativo; además valorar el impacto turístico, económico y educativo que tienen las empresas turísticas del Cantón Quevedo, tomando como base la perspectiva del antes y después de la aplicación a las reformas turísticas implementadas en el gobierno del Eco. Rafael Correa.

ABSTRACT

The Ecuador has had great changes and challenges relating to tourism; the Government of the citizen revolution made changes in its production and development, because it is not developed what we have in our country, now considered tourism as an activity also consumption and economic growth. This article is aimed to analyze the development tourism in the production of the SMEs of Quevedo Canton and determine how many tourist companies; they hire professionals trained in hospitality and tourism to work on them. The study is developed with the participation of students in the career of the Technical University of Babahoyo (TUB)-Extension Quevedo which contributes to the development of research skills and the science of teaching-learning content during the training process; also rating the tourist, economic and educational impact that have the tourist companies of Quevedo Canton, on the basis of the perspective of the before and after application to tourist reforms implemented in the Government of the Eco. Rafael Correa.
