Transformación digital en los procesos de aprendizaje de la educación superior

La educación superior se encuentra inmersa en un proceso de transformación digital sin precedentes. La introducción de tecnologías digitales en las instituciones educativas está modificando los métodos tradicionales de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Esta revisión sistemática, fundamentada en la metodología PRISMA, analizó evidencia sobre el impacto de la transformación digital en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la educación superior. La búsqueda bibliográfica se realizó en múltiples bases de datos de alto impacto, incluyendo Web of Science, Scopus, ERIC, PsycINFO, IEEE Xplore y ScienceDirect. Se incluyeron estudios cuantitativos publicados entre 2019 y 2024 que evaluaron el efecto de diversas tecnologías digitales en resultados de aprendizaje de estudiantes universitarios. Se analizaron 25 investigaciones relevantes, los resultados muestran que las plataformas y recursos para educación virtual se han adoptado ampliamente, transformando las interacciones entre estudiantes y docentes. Sin embargo, se evidencia la necesidad de desarrollar intencionalmente competencias digitales en ambos grupos para implementar soluciones tecnológicas que realmente mejoren el aprendizaje. Si bien existen importantes desafíos de integración efectiva de tecnologías digitales en contextos educativos reales, su potencial para flexibilizar y personalizar la educación es significativo. Se requiere más investigación cuantitativa sobre el impacto diferenciado de tecnologías digitales específicas en diversos aspectos del aprendizaje. Las políticas institucionales deben estar fundamentadas en evidencia sólida para promover aquellas soluciones tecnológicas que efectivamente mejoren la calidad y equidad educativa.
