Abstract

The online or virtual educational field that we are currently experiencing involves the development of orientations towards collaborative learning. However, the implementation of this teaching technique represents a constant challenge and challenge faced by educational-teacher-student  institutions within the virtual parameters daily day by day and with the connectivity difficulties that arise. One of the origins lies in the times and times of all participants, since their occupations are usually dissimilar. This flexibility, if not driven by good tutoring and dynamic instructional design, will surely generate an abandoned student, who only turns on the computer or phone when performing the activities and disconnects from the virtual classroom without ny interest.  In the face of these questions, a classroom can be created where the group dismisses the importance of social interaction within virtual coverage, building knowledge, developing critical thinking and generating skills and talents to work as a team but collaboratively tools so necessary for today's student and professional. That is why, in this article, I will discuss the foundation of collaborative learning, challenges and how we can improve our practices through the pressing use of it, making it clear that collaborative learning determined as learning tasks in which students or participants work together in groups small enough for everyone to participate in a clearly assigned collective task.
