Abstract
The adoption of an entrepreneurial attitude in the youth population, in response to multiple social and economic factors, generates entrepreneurial initiatives, many of which fail in the short term, due to the absence of an innovative and scalable business model. The objective of this research is to characterize the Business Model under the Canvas philosophy and determine its importance in the design of Business Plans or Business Projects. To fulfill this purpose, a descriptive methodology is applied, based on relevant bibliographic reviews. This article shows a series of research papers, which confirms the importance of the Canvas methodology in structuring projects. The conclusions of this research maintain that the Osterwalder and Pigneur Canvas methodology, facilitate the entrepreneur through a simple canvas of nine blocks, know the external and internal factors of his business idea, validating it and thus finally giving the green light for the development of a Plan firmer business and with huge chances of success. The modern structure of a Business Plan must necessarily include a Business Model.
