Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of innovative applications on the digital education learning processes of adolescents on Bejucal Island. Despite the various geographical, and in some cases, structural and technological, barriers and challenges that adolescents often face in this sector, this study identifies how access to different educational tools, applications on platforms with gamified learning, and different collaborative virtual environments are helping to transform adolescents' educational experience. Using a mixed methodology that includes surveys administered to adolescents, significant improvements in motivation, participation, and learning autonomy are evident. However, some gaps are identified that are closely linked to young people's access to connectivity and technological devices, as well as the urgent need for teacher training.
