Habilidades pedagógicas y su incidencia en el aprendizaje

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of teachers' pedagogical skills on the academic performance of seventh-grade students at Nuevo San Juan School during the 2024-2025 academic year. Using a qualitative mixed-method approach, the research uses a non-experimental, documentary and descriptive design. Data collection involved surveys, interviews with teachers in charge, and classroom observations. Preliminary results suggest a correlation between pedagogical skills and more meaningful learning. Students who apply pedagogical skills throughout their student life tend to improve their learning and, consequently, their academic performance. The pedagogical proposal developed in this study seeks to emphasize those skills that should be practiced more regularly, promoting strategies to implement skills that correspond to the learning level to be achieved. It is expected that students will not only improve their academic performance but, more importantly, that effective and eloquent learning will be reflected. In conclusion, this research offers a profound insight into the educational challenges posed by traditional learning, where teachers are merely the sender of theories and propose practical solutions to improve learning and, of course, student performance.
