La inteligencia artificial Mónica y su incidencia en el rendimiento académico de estudiantes de décimo año en la unidad educativa "13 de enero"

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the incidence of the artificial intelligence "Mónica" on the academic performance of tenth-grade students, parallel "B" at the "13 de Enero" Educational Unit. The research focused on identifying students' perceptions regarding the tool's usefulness, ease of use, and effectiveness in understanding academic content. A mixed-methodological approach, with a descriptive design, was expanded through structured surveys conducted by students and teachers. The data obtained were analyzed and represented graphically. The results showed that 63.3% of students expressed satisfaction with the tool's response speed and its contribution to content comprehension. Furthermore, 60% highlighted the ease of use of the interface, and 56% positively valued the suggested study strategies. However, some students encountered initial difficulties adapting to the tool, which demonstrates the need to strengthen training processes, or dissatisfaction with certain technical and functional aspects, which indicates areas for improvement. The use of artificial intelligence tools like "Mónica" has fostered greater student participation and engagement, offering an innovative alternative to traditional learning.
