Abstract
Previous studies on disruptive behavior have shown that such behaviors negatively affect the school environment and hinder learning, which can have long-term consequences on children's academic and socio-emotional development. This research was conducted at Unidad Educativa Juan E. Verdesoto, located in the city of Babahoyo, in the province of Los Ríos. This institution was selected because it is representative of the issue under study and provided access to the necessary data for analysis. The main objective of this study is to analyze the impact of disruptive behaviors on the learning of students in Early Childhood Education Level II. A bibliographic review was carried out, drawing on theoretical contributions from relevant authors through scientific articles, books, theses, and other sources. A mixed-methods approach was used; data collection included surveys administered to teachers and parents, and interviews conducted with the school principal and a classroom teacher to obtain relevant information on the topic. The results highlight the significance of the issue, revealing that disruptive behaviors have a negative impact on children's academic performance and socio-emotional development. In conclusion, it is essential to implement emotional and social support programs that help children develop key socio-emotional skills to cope with conflictive situations.
