CLASSROOM COMMUNICATION TO PROMOTE A COLLABORATIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Additional Files
Abstract
The article examines the possibilities of improving classroom communication to foster a positive and collaborative learning environment. It focuses on the importance of communication in the educational process, and in increasing students' academic performance and emotional well-being.
Common barriers that can hinder classroom communication are analyzed, such as lack of clarity in instructions, lack of student participation, and interpersonal conflicts. Then, teacher and student strategies are proposed to overcome these barriers and improve communication.
Classroom Communication provides practical strategies for both students and teachers to improve their ability to communicate effectively, which can lead to a more positive and collaborative learning environment.
The role of technology in classroom communication is also discussed, highlighting tools such as online platforms, discussion forums, and mobile applications that facilitate interaction between students and teachers by promoting collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
For students, it is suggested to encourage active participation in class, ask questions when they do not understand something, and seek help when necessary. In addition, the importance of actively listening to peers and the teacher to improve understanding and collaborative learning is highlighted.
Teachers are encouraged to use teaching techniques that encourage student participation, such as project-based learning, or the use of technological tools to facilitate classroom interaction.
