DIGITAL SKILLS TRAINING FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract
Digital skills are a necessity today due to the rapid introduction of technologies in the lives of human beings and the impact they have on their well-being. In addition, these are related to the challenges that people take on in the digital world. Today it is the use of generative artificial intelligence, which is why achieving it from high school becomes essential. The approach is mixed, with a predominance of quantitative methods. The research design is pretest/posttest with a single group. 500 students were selected from an Educational Unit (Ambato – Ecuador), during the 2022-2023 cycle, their consent was requested. The scientific databases used: Google Scholar, SciELO and ScienceDirect.com, taking the last five years. The main conceptualizations of digital competencies are analyzed, and their dimensions are established. A system of actions is proposed in high school to lay the most important transformative foundations in the formation of digital skills related to the student and the community.
