PROCESO DE REGISTRO DEL SERVICIO DE ATENCIÓN PRE- HOSPITALARA DE LOS CENTROS REGULADORES DE EMERGENCIAS Y URGENCIAS (CREU)

Abstract

The Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador, through the National Directorate of Pre-hospital Care       and Mobile Units -DNAPHUM-, guarantees urgent and emergent care outside health facilities to people  who are victims of injuries or sudden illness, as well as care in areas where access to health services is limited; in accordance with sectoral policies, within the framework of law and social equity." (Ministry of Public Health, 2020). In this sense, the National Directorate of Pre-hospital Care and Mobile Units (DNAPHUM) regulates the Mobile Health Care Service, Zurita (2017), which is transversal to all levels of care that has mobility and roaming as its principle, as well as providing mobile health services in urgent/emergency situations, transportation and direct care to users/patients. The objective is to implement guidelines for the registration of actions for the care of incidents and/or events carried out by health personnel in Emergency and Urgent Care Centers in the matrix of telephone supports to obtain real data on health management in the CREU. The methodology is documentary and bibliographical. The result is that the process is mandatory throughout the national territory, for actors in the pre-hospital care service. In conclusion, it can be deduced that through this service, mobile health services are provided in urgent/emergency situations, transportation and direct care to users/patients.
