La formación docente en atención a la diversidad sexual en los estudiantes de bachillerato

Abstract

The objective of this research article is to highlight how teacher training influences the attention towards sexual diversity of high school students of the Eugenio Espejo Municipal Educational Unit. Supporting the problem of teacher training as a primary actor for the educational inclusion and exclusion generated by sexual diversity. The methodological support corresponds to a quantitative investigative work of non-experimental design, through the collection of data supported by the survey that provided the necessary information for the verification of the hypothesis through the application of statistical analysis. Among the findings, it was found that teacher training does influence educational inclusion and exclusion, education is a tool for social reproduction that would benefit creating significant changes in the educational community. Finally, supported by the statistical test, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted, which suggests that teachers who have teacher training in sexual diversity have better educational practices. Recommending in this way to propose teacher training on sexual diversity as an alternative to work on inclusion and exclusion in schools.
