Abstract

The work presented is based on a study carried out at the Technical University of Babahoyo, framed in the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the educational field. The research that is shown, is of great interest because it proposes to design a strategy for the improvement of the English teacher with the use of (ICT). Observation and analysis of documents were the methods used which gave arise to design the strategy to improve the preparation of the teacher with the management of ICT in the teaching-learning process. The results obtained with the application of the strategy will show its validity and relevance since a gradual improvement in the preparation of classes and educational activities is appreciated, evidencing the potential offered by technologies. The proposal responds to Vygotsky's historical-cultural theory, affirming the position that man is not only a product of the environment, but also actively participates in its creation and by transforming it, he transforms himself.
