Modelo constructivista y su aplicación en el proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes

Abstract

The constructivist model encourages creativity, cooperation, exchange of knowledge and experiences in an interactive, striking and spontaneous way, thus allowing students to develop satisfactorily during their academic training and obtain significant learning. The purpose of this article is to analyze the constructivist model and its application in the learning process in the students of the sixth semester of the evening course of Pedagogy of Experimental Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, in the academic period November 2022 - April 2023. The methodology used in the research was exploratory, which focuses on the what, why, and how of the object of study, in addition it was of quantitative approach that was based on the collection of data in a statistical way. The population and sample consisted of 22 students, who were surveyed and the results showed a high degree of agreement regarding the importance of the constructivist model in their learning cycle. Based on the results obtained in the survey, it is concluded that the constructivist model has a positive impact on the learning process in the students of the sixth semester evening PCEI, since through the use of different learning strategies of the constructivist model such as the elaboration and organization strategies allow the student to reason, argue, analyze and strengthen their skills, thus allowing them to obtain significant learning as well as critical and innovative thinking.
