Análisis de los modelos de gestión para sostenibilidad del emprendimiento social en la Provincia de los Ríos

Abstract

Social entrepreneurship is a topic of much discussion in recent years, but many authors define it as the business model focused on solving a social or environmental problem, where the main objective is to improve people's quality of life, and This may or may not be for profit. This is where public and private entities come in, which must be a fundamental pillar where it allows to promote, advise and guarantee the sustainability of different social enterprises, to provide a solution to society requires.

This article reviews the antecedents of social entrepreneurship in Latin America and Ecuador, and then makes a qualitative and quantitative study in different public and private institutions in the province of Los Ríos, where there is an area that manages entrepreneurship issues, and in turn analyze the entrepreneurship management model that they implement to meet the objective of said area or department.
