Abstract

The use of tools for learning tourist operation platforms is total in the English language. One of the most effective ways to create a transcendental shift from a traditional teaching towards a more meaningful and authentic teaching in the English class is through the implementation of active learning strategies and techniques. This method produced measuring in students who knew about tourism operations, but could not interpret codes and commands from a global platform for flight sales. Then came the audiolingual method, which focused on listening, speaking and pronouncing, but in a passive, monotonous and repetitive way, which made the students simply repeat the dialogues word for word, memorizing them. This method produced students who could only converse in very specific contexts.
