Aplicación de la Inteligencia Artificial en la evaluación del impacto ambiental de proyectos de ingeniería

La aplicación de la inteligencia artificial en la evaluación del impacto ambiental de proyectos de ingeniería civil ha demostrado ser una herramienta valiosa para mejorar la precisión y eficacia de este proceso. A diferencia de los métodos tradicionales, la Inteligencia Artificial permite analizar grandes cantidades de datos, generar modelos predictivos y facilitar la toma de decisiones informadas. Los estudios de caso revelan que técnicas como el Proceso de Análisis Jerárquico, Árboles de Decisión y Máquinas de Soporte Vectorial han sido aplicadas exitosamente en proyectos de construcción de carreteras y presas. Sin embargo, existen desafíos éticos y limitaciones técnicas que deben abordarse, como la transparencia, la disponibilidad de datos y la incertidumbre en las predicciones. La investigación futura debe enfocarse en desarrollar modelos que aborden estas problemáticas y establezcan técnicas para determinar la incertidumbre en las predicciones. A pesar de estos desafíos, la Inteligencia Artificial tiene el potencial de transformar la evaluación del impacto ambiental, contribuyendo a la prevención de impactos negativos y la promoción de la sostenibilidad en los proyectos de ingeniería civil.
