Factores limitantes para el crecimiento de los proyectos de emprendimientos comunitarios rurales del sector sur del cantón Cuenca

Abstract

This article describes the limiting factors of the group of Azuayan women native to Victoria del Portete, Tarqui, San Gerardo, and Chumblín, areas located south of Cuenca that have decided to start their businesses. The vision of the projects they have planned is ambitious, such is the case that they are looking to make their communities one of the most visited tourist destinations in Austro for foreign and national tourists that will be of help to reactivate the family and local economy. At the end of the research, we seek to identify all the limiting factors for the growth of the enterprises, especially in the rural communities of the south of the canton of Cuenca, among which we can highlight the lack of infrastructure to develop their products, the lack of knowledge of the laws to establish businesses, the lack of government support, the local and national economy, labor force, and even the rejection of certain sectors of the community to support mining. To obtain this information, surveys with structured questions and directed interviews were conducted, solving and complementing the information from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor GEM. For the development of this article, due to the Health Crisis by Covid-19 and to facilitate the collection of data, safeguarding the health of the authors, the analysis of the enterprises associated with the Intercultural Women's Front of Azuay FIMA will be carried out
