Auriculotherapy and physical exercise: impact on the control and decrease of exogenous obesity

Abstract
Obesity has become a growing and important difficulty of morbidity and mortality on a global scale, it is considered the most prevalent nutritional problem in the world and multiple factors that are associated with this condition increase the risk of mortality, for which it is necessary go to therapies that neutralize and contribute to the treatment of this disease. A study was carried out with the objective of evaluating the incidence of auriculotherapy and physical exercise as intervention therapies in the control and reduction of exogenous obesity of users who attended the Pan-American Clinic of Babahoyo between the months of January to July 2019 . The research is descriptive, prospective and longitudinal, the study universe was made up of 210 users between 18 and 70 years of age; Two groups were formed (105 patients each), the first was treated by using auriculotherapy, while in the second group physical exercise was used as intervention therapy, in both groups a dietary treatment was oriented. It was shown that the use of physical exercise decreased the number of users with a higher degree of obesity, the number of normal-weight individuals increased and this increase in physical activity will be an important element in raising the quality of life of users suffering from obesity exogenous.
