Abstract

This paper presents the previous study and design of the modernization of the control of the cleaning system of the grids of the load taking of the hydroelectric power plant Agoyan. This system allows to keep the water ingress free to the turbines, and is formed by a movable gantry (14; 65 Tn) and an obstruction detection system. A centralized control topology consisting of two automata and a touch panel connected via a WLAN network was implemented for the control and monitoring of the grid cleaning system.
