Evaluación Tráfico vehicular para conocer Nivel de Servicio de Avenida Francisco de Orellana, Ciudad Guayaquil

Abstract

The correct functioning of a road system allows achieving the goals for which it was conceived, its scope and quality represents the dominant indicator of the degree of growth and effect of a road solution. In recent years, the increase of the car park on the roads of the country and especially in the streets of the city of Guayaquil, has motivated that congestion is a trigger for the efficient mobility of public and private vehicles. The immediate consequence of this deficiency makes it very important to carry out a largely detailed operational analysis of the transportation systems, their organization and the creation of functional systems, which will result in the Human activity is efficient. To achieve this objective we have raised the estimation of the capacity and level of service in Av. Francisco de Orellana in the section Avenida Miguel H. Alcivar and Calle José Santiago Castillo, through vehicle seating and the determination of volume and Composition under municipal parameters and the Ministry of Transport and Public Works (MTOP), the same that will allow us to know if the activity that is taking place in the periods of greater mobilization (peak hour) in this system is or not efficient, depending on Of the result obtained, to raise recommendations of mitigation or geometric changes in its cross section of being the case for execution of future works.
