Machinery Soil movement Productivity Performance

Abstract

This paper is based on acquired data in the IESS’s Hospital of Duran. Where the studied heavy machinery played their soil moving work, these that where identified and detailed so that we can calculate the performance of each one of the teams individually, also as a body of work, that is, grouped. In the project’s budget we used a theoretical performance based on a group of factors (you can get these data from the engineering’s books), On the other hand, for this investigation we used data obtained “in situ”, each one of these values was inserted in a theoretical formula, giving us a theoretical-practical performance, which is very attached to reality. Once the analysis of the items performance of the projects soil moving work is done, it was found the machinery set that will work efficiently, allowing on increase of productivity in work and not to waste resources of hour - machinery, avoiding the underutilization or overestimation of equipment, improving the unit cost of the activity and searching a bigger economic increase to the company in charge of the project.
