Web System Tutorials Higher Education Academic Management Scrum Methodology

Abstract

This project aims to improve the monitoring and management processes for student tutoring, which are currently carried out manually. This will improve communication between teachers and students, improve academic performance, and reduce dropout rates.

For this project, the agile Scrum methodology was adopted, which allows for efficient and, above all, collaborative management in the development of the system. This process included the identification of functional and non-functional requirements, the design of a robust conceptual architecture, and, above all, the selection of current and appropriate technological tools. Therefore, an iterative and incremental structure was used to ensure continuous delivery of value.

This proposal encompasses the automation and centralization of tutoring processes, thereby enabling better management and significantly reducing the administrative burden on academic staff. This system will not only improve operational efficiency but also provide the student community with more secure and personalized access to academic tutoring services.

Therefore, the proposed system would have a significant impact on student retention and academic performance, as well as an improvement in the efficiency of administrative work in communication and follow-up of tutoring sessions. This demonstrates the potential of current technological tools in academic management. This work also provides a solid foundation for future developments and implementations.
