SATISFACCIÓN Y EMPLEABILIDAD EN ENFERMERAS /OS GRADUADOS EN LA UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE BABAHOYO: ANÁLISIS BASADO EN RESULTADOS DE SEGUIMIENTO A GRADUADOS 2022

Abstract

The objectives of the study are to determine the level of professional satisfaction of the graduates of a University of Ecuador and to identify the level of professional satisfaction in the dimensions, employability and job occupation in the graduates of the Technical University of Babahoyo. Method; Quantitative approach Type of research: Basic Design: Descriptive, retrospective, Correlational Population- 71 graduates in the years 2018, 2019 and 2020. Sample. After having applied the questionnaire through the survey, it was verified that 71 graduates responded to the periodic survey to carry out the respective analysis. The results indicate that many graduates work in areas related to their training. Results; The employment situation of Nursing graduates: 66% of those surveyed are currently working, 34% of those surveyed are not employed, the salary range that 66% receive is up to USD 1000.00, it must be considered that these professionals have recently begin their economic activity and that as time progresses their income will increase, while 34% do not apply, and 2% have a job indirectly related to their degree, and referring to the usefulness of knowledge in their work, the 80% of graduates consider it very useful and 20% consider it useful. Conclusion This shows that Nursing graduates consider that the knowledge acquired at the institution has been very useful to apply in their work, which indicates satisfaction in the aspects of employability and job occupation and represents a strength for them and a plus for their career.
