LA PLANEACIÓN ESTRATÉGICA EN EL DESARROLLO AGROINDUSTRIAL DE LA PROVINCIA DE LOS RIOS

Abstract

Strategic planning allows the agro-industrial sector to develop economically and socially, since it focuses on applying innovative strategies to expand to different markets, both internal and external, create new products, be competitive and grow as a business for the well-being of their families and the development of the country. The objective of this research was to analyze the agricultural sector in the Province of Los Ríos, its productive activity surface, the percentage of participation at the regional and national level, its main products, which guides us on what we want to promote in an agro-industrial way. To do this, the research had both a quantitative and qualitative approach, which led us to a bibliographic analysis to apply an internal and external analysis of the sector until the application of a survey to the sample extracted from the total population of the Agricultural Associations that the Province of Los Ríos has. The result was the need to create a strategic planning structure adapted to the needs of the agro-industrial sector that promotes socioeconomic development having five key stages that promote sustainability, productivity and competitiveness in the market.
