DIAGNÓSTICO Y PROPUESTA DEL MODELO Z2 ALTMAN EN LA EMPRESA CONSTRUCTORA ETINAR S.A. DE LA CIUDAD DE GUAYAQUIL-ECUADOR PERIODO 2017-2020

Abstract
The present investigation did a Diagnosis and proposal of the Z2 Altman model was carried out in the company Constructora Etinar S.A. of the city of Guayaquil-Ecuador in the period 2017 -2020, where the economic and financial situation of the company was verified during the aforementioned period. From this, the objective was to prepare a financial diagnosis and a future proposal to be able to apply the Z2 Altman econometric model in the company and thus detect if it would be in a possible bankruptcy or financial insolvency. The methodology that was applied is the field and documentary work, in the first technique an interview is carried out with the general manager and general accountant of the company in order to have valuable information that can help with the application of each of the objectives set and In the second technique, the vertical and horizontal analysis and the financial ratios of the balance sheet and income statement are carried out. The results obtained allow revealing the financial situation of the company, where it is economically with some variability but stable throughout the period, identifying that the year 2017 was the best of all since the total of its assets was $32,132,243.00 with net profit of $940,322.00 being the one with the highest growth during the 4 years and regarding the application of the Z2.
