Abstract

Cellulitis is a skin infection caused by bacteria, causing signs and symptoms such as pain, erythema, edema, abscesses with elimination of purulent and bloody fluids and hyperthermia, the most common symptomatology in this pathology that damages the skin surface and can affect up to the bloodstream. Nowadays, this type of cellulite cases appears very frequently in health activities. Infections concerning the skin and soft tissues have now become a topic of interest because they are frequently a reason for consultation. The purpose of elaborating this clinical case is with the objective of applying the nursing care process in adolescents with a medical diagnosis of cellulitis of the upper limb and achieving the implementation of nursing interventions aimed at humanitarian care in an integral way with a scientific basis so that there is an evolution positive in patient recovery.
