Importancia de la cultura montubia como recurso y atractivo turístico en la Provincia de Los Ríos

Abstract

The Province of Los Ríos is located inside the Ecuadorian coast, this geographical position prevents you from going out to the sea and therefore enjoying this natural resource that attracts tourism directly. This article of special contribution allows identifying some characteristics of the Montubia culture of the Los Ríos province, its characteristics and uniqueness that differentiate it from other coastal areas and that makes it possible to generate the registration process in the Ecuadorian Heritage Information System (SIPCE) for the correct diffusion of the same and promotion of our resources towards our culture, descendants and national and foreign tourists. Culture was defined, its dimensions such as Montubia and culinary culture in order to identify individual aspects that differ from other contexts, this research was carried out under a qualitative-inductive approach, which allowed a participant observation between researchers and members of the communities or enclosures in various cantons of the Province, in addition to standardizing some culinary recipes, traditional games, native Montubias expressions and the projection of the official registration of our culture in the SIPCE for tourism purposes.
