ABSTRACT

With the use of technology it is easy to include infographics as an alternative pedagogical method. We analyzed how information processing is developed in images to improve students’ understanding; the importance of the appropriate selection and application of images, and forms for the articulation of previous knowledge and new knowledge; if the selection and application of content is relevant to be adapted in graphic representations; and finally in evaluating the articulation of visual resources to technological diffusion media and how they enhance learning. From a student population of 355, a representative sample of 176 students was tested. This study is a first approach to a more extensive research project. Therefore, the research design used was the non-experimental cross-section of descriptive scope. In detail it was determined that most of the teachers and students agree that the infographic improves the learning of the contents.
